Lets Get Western!

I have to say this has been one of my favorite challenges for myself that I have done in a long time. a few months back I posted on Facebook in a wedding group that I was looking for a western style wedding that I wanted to photograph as I have been changing things about my business and style. I still love my old light and airy style but have been wanting to dabble in a new concept and style for me and I think that I am falling in love with it. I have been shooting weddings since 2014 and have seen every trend possible for editing and capturing images for couples. I am now focusing on being a story teller for my couples and learning new ways , adding a artistic flare back to my imagery and being more creative, I got so caught up in the day to day weddings and forgot who I am as a Creator and Photographer and thought that I needed to follow what everyone else was doing instead of being my own artist. yes photography is art and takes years of practice and you never stop learning new things. with that being said let me introduce you to Sam and Pamela! Sam is a Bull rider and defiantly lives the western way and Pamela is so sweet and down to earth, They met through their love of Rodeos. Pam reached out to me about her wedding and what she was looking in for a Photographer, someone that could capture their western style and dreams for their wedding day. once we spoke and got to know each other I had to find the perfect location to add to the style she was looking for, so why not some land, a few cows, and a horse to make this western engagement a true western seen! I can't not wait for their wedding in November of this year!
